The Hague is ideally located between the 2 major airports in the Netherlands; Amsterdam Schiphol Airport (AMS) and Rotterdam/The Hague Airport (RTM). How to get to the Hague from Schiphol airport?

By train it will take you around 30 minutes to travel from Schiphol airport to The Hague Central Station. You can take a direct train.

The train schedules are available on line (enter “Den Haag Centraal” as the destination).

The full fare one way ticket costs 8,2 € (2nd class) and can be bought either at the airport yellow self service machines with credit card or at the Dutch Railway service office.



How to get to the Hague from Rotterdam airport?

In order to get to the Hague from Rotterdam Airport you first need to take the Airport Shuttle (Busline 50) to the metro station Meijersplein.  From there it will take you around 45 minutes to travel to the Hague Central Station with the metro line E.

A one way ticket costs € 3,00. Please note you have to pay cash. There is an information service/desk located in the transit hall at Rotterdam Airport.


From the Hague central station to the hotel

If you prefer public transport, there are direct trams and buses from the station to the hotel. From the Central Station station, take bus 24 to Kijkduin (exit at Gemeentemuseum stop) or tram 17 to Statenkwartier (exit at Gemeentemuseum stop).


It will take you around 20 minutes to travel from the Hague Central Station to Hotel BelAir by public transport.

Tram / Bus Tickets

Single ticket

You can buy a ticket from the bus and tram driver. Please note you have to pay cash. A single ticket is valid for 60 minutes travel with HTM (the Hague’s public transportation company) and costs € 3,00. This ticket allows you to hop-on and hop-off on all HTM bus and tram lines in the Hague city.
