Juan, an enthusiast of the humanities, holds a master of arts from the Institute of European Studies of the Jagiellonian University, where for the last three years he’s been a part of the coordinating team of the MA in Euroculture programme focusing on PR, student services and general administration. He currently co-teaches a course on project management and cultural communication as part of the same programme. He also teaches several advanced Spanish language courses at the department of Linguistics of the Tischner European University in Krakow, one of which focuses on media and communication. He has a strong attachment to photography and the visual arts and works actively on graphic and web design projects. His background as an industrial and systems engineering (ITESM, Mexico) has given him the project management skills to perform in several fields such as quality, cultural management and logistics. He has led a course on European Panorama at his home-town university in Mexico and his general interests envelop literature, cinema, the city and writing. He has adopted Krakow as his home-city and has a weakness for strong coffee, spicy food and cheese.
